Mission

The Appellate Defense Division represents Navy and Marine Corps appellants before the Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals (NMCCA), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (CAAF), and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Function

Appellate Representation

Appellate Defense Division represents Navy and Marine Corps appellants before NMCCA, CAAF and the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition, the Appellate Defense Division represents appellants before the Navy Clemency & Parole Board if their case is in appellate review and time constraints permit.
