The Commander’s Action Group (CAG) was established within the Office of the Judge Advocate General (OJAG) to provide policy, guidance, and direction for all JAG Corps transformation and strategic planning efforts.

The CAG is the principal advisor to the Judge Advocate General and the Deputy Judge Advocate General on strategic planning. In this capacity, the CAG team:

• Provides guidance and oversight for strategic planning
• Oversees development, modification, and oversight of the JAG Corps Strategic Plan and associated guidance
• Provides flexible on-demand support for special initiatives, projects, and tasks as directed by the JAG and DJAG
• Serves as the single point of contact within NLSC and OJAG for surveys and assessments of JAG Corps personnel
